About Princess Cruises

Made famous by The Love Boat television show, Princess Cruises is one of the eleven cruise ship brands operated by Carnival Corp. An American-based cruise line, Princess line was founded in 1966 by Stanley McDonald in Los Angeles. Currently, Princess maintains 17 ships among 3 classes: the Grand class, the Sun class, and the Explorer class. Two new ships are scheduled for completion in 2013 and 2014. These two new ships are said to be the largest newbuilds to date for the cruise line, with 100% of outside staterooms having private verandas and a passenger capacity of 3,600 people. The Love Boat series featured two Princess ships, the Island Princess and the Pacific Princess. As the third largest cruise line in the entire world, Princess will continue to grow and prosper through it's well-known affordable cruise packages that allow weary travelers to "escape completely."

Junior cruisers from ages 3-17 can partcipate in many activities onboard a Princess Cruise (except for Ocean and Pacific Princess, 20 or more children are required for the youth programs)
Princess Fun Zone Activities are divided into two age groups:
"Princess Pelicans" (ages 3-7)
"Shockwaves" (ages 8-12)
Offering activities such as: Arts & Crafts, Scavenger Hunts, Karaoke, Shipboard Olympics and much more
